Superintendent’s Greeting

Welcome to the Mendon-Upton Regional School District website and the 2011-12 school year!

We hope that our website provides you the information you need to be informed about our four schools and our district. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.

I am very excited to be the new superintendent of the MURSD as I believe our schools offer fine programs serviced by an outstanding professional staff.  I will work collaboratively with all stakeholders in our communities to further improve teaching and learning in our schools.   While that is the heart of my work, equally critical is the process of identifying new partnerships and maximizing the efficiency of existing resources so innovation may thrive in our schools.  For me, the next few months will be a period of deep learning about our schools and communities.  I have detailed my plans to listen and learn in a formal entry plan.  I look forward to sharing my findings of this plan in January, 2012.
